Courtesy Call on the Vice-President of the Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola

Within the framework of the 50th Independence Anniversary celebrations of the Republic of Angola, the Ambassador of Ghana, Her Excellency Mavis Esi Kusorgbor paid a courtesy call on the Vice-President of the ruling party, Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola (MPLA), Her Excellency Mara Regina da Silva Baptista Domingos Quiosa on 24th February, 2025.

During the meeting, the Ambassador and the Vice-President recalled the historical bonds of friendship that exists between Ghana and Angola, and the political goodwill that had over the years further contributed to the strengthening of bilateral relations.

On the 50th Independence Anniversary celebrations of Angola, the Ambassador applauded the leadership of the MPLA for charting the path of peace, security, development and prosperity for the good people of Angola and for contributing in diverse ways to the social and economic transformation agenda of the African Union.
