Ghana’s Ambassador to Angola, H.E. Mavis Esi Kusorgbor paid a visit to the Agostinho Neto University on 27th March, 2025. The Rector of the University of Agostinho Neto, Prof. Pedro Magalhães, and his Directors, warmly welcomed Ambassador to the University. The Rector acknowledged the significance of the visit of the Ambassador as a milestone, as it marked the first time an Ambassador from an Embassy of a West African Country, was visiting the University.
The purpose of the visit to the University, which was at the instance of Ambassador Kusorgbor, was to seek opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Ghana and Angola in the field of education. The meeting also explored potential partnerships between Ghanaian universities and the University of Agostinho Neto, as well as opportunities for student and faculty exchanges.
